David Dewulf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Resentvig in the 6th minute of play. Lázaro Bonadona hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Niklas Möller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Dewulf was a little too slow when Linus Resentvig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Linus Resentvig notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of The Waldos's David Dewulf. David Dewulf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Linus Resentvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dewulf having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Linus Resentvig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Dewulf was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Berten Imbrechs hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Linus Resentvig lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated David Dewulf. 29 minutes into the match, Galapagos Islands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Pagomari came free, but Dennis Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Galapagos Islands FC booed when The Waldos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berten Imbrechs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Linus Resentvig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galapagos Islands FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Resentvig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Dewulf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linus Resentvig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. David Dewulf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Niklas Möller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, The Waldos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Linus Resentvig fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dennis Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gražvydas Gylys, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Linus Resentvig struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. David Dewulf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galapagos Islands FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Galapagos Islands FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after The Waldos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taha Ali took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Taha Ali got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Dewulf quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute, Linus Resentvig made a precise shot to the right of David Dewulf. The Waldos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Linus Resentvig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Dewulf was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to The Waldos getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lázaro Bonadona hit a great ball. The Waldos made a substitution. Ulises Firmin replaced Fidel Erdiano. In the 67th minute, Lázaro Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, The Waldos's goal looked a bit too open when Taha Ali came free, but David Dewulf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Galapagos Islands FC were awarded a corner. Taha Ali went to the cornerflag to take it. Taha Ali made a great header on Galapagos Islands FC's corner, it was just that The Waldos's David Dewulf managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Galapagos Islands FC's Erik Lund got a free kick in the 71st minute. The Waldos made a substitution. Marin Ştefănescu replaced Alvaro Pagomari. A collision led to Galapagos Islands FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Erik Lund hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, The Waldos's Jann Bavneby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Lindberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Waldos reached it. Dennis Lindberg made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Prudencio Isias sent off a good shot on target. David Dewulf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Resentvig in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Resentvig in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Dewulf saved The Waldos from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Resentvig in the 87th minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper David Dewulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Taha Ali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, The Waldos's Marin Ştefănescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. Galapagos Islands FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Waldos for a fine match.
