In the 9th minute, Fred Åkerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Oliszewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Degas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jedrzej Hajs made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ali Hamza Okuyan immediately put the ball in play. In the 15th minute Fred Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Leo Campana. Fred Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Oliszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 24 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Oliszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Fred Åkerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Oliszewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 36 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Campana came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Fred Åkerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Åkerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Åkerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Åkerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Sokol to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Fred Åkerström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Oliszewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Herbert Oliszewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Åkerström went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the KS LEW Chorzów defense, Fred Åkerström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Oliszewski. The KS LEW Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Oliszewski should have stopped the shot. KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Åkerström in the 66th minute of play. Fred Åkerström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Oliszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Stanyo Tanushev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS LEW Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Malvín the free kick. In the 69th minute, Stanyo Tanushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Niva Espellosa replaced Fred Åkerström. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Jabier Igual. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Sesuldo Roque replaced Sandu Mândrilă. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Stanyo Tanushev hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Oliszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niva Espellosa in the 80th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niva Espellosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herbert Oliszewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Niva Espellosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Niva Espellosa came free, but Herbert Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match Playa Malvín got a corner. KS LEW Chorzów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sesuldo Roque ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Playa Malvín's Sesuldo Roque to fire away a dangerous shot which Herbert Oliszewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herbert Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niva Espellosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
