An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 5th minute of play forced Fenrir BK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Inácio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Åke Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Freitas in the 11th minute of play forced Fenrir BK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Åke Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Freitas in the 15th minute of the match. A well done corner resulted in Curt Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Fenrir BK's goalkeeper. After some careless play in the Fenrir BK defense, Alessandro do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Åke Isaksson. The Fenrir BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Åke Isaksson should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Dan Bålström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Åke Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curt Montes in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Alessandro do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarquinhosEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The corner led to MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 39th minute, Florin Susara made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Åke Isaksson. Fenrir BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 42nd minute of play forced Fenrir BK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Alessandro do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Åke Isaksson. Fenrir BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Freitas scored 0-6 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Åke Isaksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Alessandro do Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Åke Isaksson, 0-7. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Perivaldo Guimarães replaced Florin Susara. Michael Meertens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Isaksson made a huge save. Jan-Åke Isaksson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Barrie Deacon sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Sundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Alessandro do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Jan-Åke Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jan-Åke Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 75th minute of play. Joel Kämpe's late challenge caught a MarquinhosEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Kämpe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Fenrir BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Freitas's shot from long distance in the 78th minute was not bad at all, but Fenrir BK's Jan-Åke Isaksson knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Jan-Åke Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Fenrir BK's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Guimarães came free, but Jan-Åke Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Fenrir BK's Einar Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over MarquinhosEC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fenrir BK throughout the match.
