An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival de Carvalho in the 18th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Kubat Tuğrul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Sayvion in the 20th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bran Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Sayvion in the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Luisinho Maciel made the kick off in the second half. Emerson Guedes came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kubat Tuğrul could save by the left post. Kubat Tuğrul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Sayvion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bran Allison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Sayvion in the 64th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cactos booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Sayvion didn't get a good kick on the ball.
