Javier Abin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zülfü Sungur in the 5th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Esmeralda AFC's Zülfü Sungur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Abin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eloy Calvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Abin having to make a save. Paulo Yurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Armani having to interfere. ...Pingue S.C....'s Javier Abin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Fonda in the 31st minute of play. Eloy Calvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Javier Abin made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, David Banegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Javier Abin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goalkeeper Javier Abin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Banegas. Zülfü Sungur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Javier Abin made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santi Gavilanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Kong Kun Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Abin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Reinaldo Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santi Gavilanes got free with Jorge Armani in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santi Gavilanes in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Armani saved Esmeralda AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santi Gavilanes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Santi Gavilanes sped through Esmeralda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Armani. In the 63rd minute, Eloy Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ...Pingue S.C....'s Paulo Yurre got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Javier Abin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Banegas in the 71st minute of play. After 76 minutes Esmeralda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Pardaves who took care of the corner kick. Sébastien Gavilanes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sébastien Gavilanes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Esmeralda AFC got a corner. ...Pingue S.C....'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kong Kun Xu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ...Pingue S.C....'s goalie and right to Nicasio Fonda. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ...Pingue S.C....'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
