An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 9th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Miguel Ángel Benito scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Gartxot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Red Devils's Kazimierz Deyna was substituted for Gwidon Okropny. Braulio Gartxot came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito. But to his dismay, Miguel Ángel Benito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cascadia United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sotos Zervoulakos was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Devils's players had a chance to rest. Rene Pueblo tried in the game's 31st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Leonel Rocco. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. 40 minutes into the game, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 43rd minute of play. Iván Pillud charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iván Pillud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Iván Pillud. Cascadia United's Constantino Neto was substituted for Abel Neron.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Ángel Benito made a kick off. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Deyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Ángel Benito in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Gartxot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simone Spano in the 58th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Trzaskoma in the 62nd minute of the match. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Di Yi in the 63rd minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the game Radoslaw Solibieda made a throw-in which Dawid Kalak played forward. Miguel Ángel Benito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tanek Szel hit a great ball. Leonel Rocco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kazimierz Deyna's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cascadia United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
