Roman Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Sienkowski in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Dé Terra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Manfredi AFC's Virgilio Tajo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Roman Vachon made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jurand Sienkowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Dé Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Remir in the 10th minute of play. Manfredi AFC's Virgilio Tajo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Saulvedis Šūpelis, made in the 13th minute of the game. Roman Vachon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Saulvedis Šūpelis in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Manfredi AFC's Virgilio Tajo. Telmo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Remir in the 24th minute of play. When Manfredi AFC's Filomeno Remir in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jurand Sienkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Vachon having to make a save. Roman Vachon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurand Sienkowski in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Filomeno Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manfredi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurand Sienkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Vachon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurand Sienkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Remir made a kick off. Telmo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Remir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Manfredi AFC defense, Jurand Sienkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Vachon. The Manfredi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Vachon should have stopped the shot. Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero was substituted for Jurand Sienkowski. Manfredi AFC made a substitution. Uriel Cordarrel replaced Aristides Cesaro. Manfredi AFC made a substitution. Ladislao Mannie replaced Guido Mikolas. With a little luck, Callegari's Telmo Almeida got control of the ball when Son Banana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Uriel Cordarrel came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Manfredi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Cordarrel couldn't finish the play. Karel Zádrapa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Son Banana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Almeida was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd minute Ladislao Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Cordarrel in the 89th minute of the match. Callegari's Wambasther Seedorf got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
