In the 3rd minute, Szilárd Újváry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hamburg Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sylwester Domeradzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilárd Újváry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamburg Fighters were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Wiktoria Zajafka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szilárd Újváry took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Maicon Fonseca heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 17th match minute, Wiktoria Zajafka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Lizewski to maneuver through the defense. If Gianluca Balla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Hamburg Fighters defense, Pankracy Bilicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis. The Hamburg Fighters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavlos Konstantakakis should have stopped the shot. Leandros Hölsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Domeradzki having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Žiška got free with Pavlos Konstantakakis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Žiška in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlos Konstantakakis saved Hamburg Fighters from getting behind. If Gianni Balla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Žiška in the 40th minute of play forced Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Žiška to make the kick off. Wiktoria Zajafka made a substitution. Artur Kissel replaced Andrzej Pluciennik. Wiktoria Zajafka were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Hamburg Fighters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herbert Lizewski took the corner. Wiktoria Zajafka's Herbert Lizewski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 65 minutes into the game, Martin Žiška cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Pavlos Konstantakakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sylwester Domeradzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianluca Balla in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Wiktoria Zajafka's Martin Žiška sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Konstantakakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gianluca Balla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Sylwester Domeradzki made a huge save. Sylwester Domeradzki made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gianluca Balla sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki got control of the ball when Gianluca Balla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Wiktoria Zajafka from getting a goal against them.
