A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 9 played minutes RED DEVIL got a freekick which was hit by Javier Umea. Dave Van Havent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fredrik Meeuwissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steff Tilemans kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, FC Zandvoorde's Matthias Van Der Elst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Euloxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Cayo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Boje Stagelund. In the 26th minute Fredrik Meeuwissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciriaco Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Ermegildo Jerrald could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Boje Stagelund however easily saved by the left post. Roman Euloxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Meeuwissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Van Der Elst's late challenge caught a RED DEVIL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Van Der Elst helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when FC Zandvoorde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Van Der Elst didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, FC Zandvoorde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin-Alexander Steenbeeck to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zandvoorde's zone, Ciriaco Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boje Stagelund came out of the goal and Ciriaco Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Leonel Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boje Stagelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Enaut to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, RED DEVIL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Matteo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Zandvoorde getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Matthias Van Der Elst hit a great ball. Erwin-Alexander Steenbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Teo Chale in the 55th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Boje Stagelund's left hand side. After a rather tough play, RED DEVIL's Teo Chale got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes of play RED DEVIL's Teo Chale was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RED DEVIL! In the 85th minute, Dave Van Havent left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zandvoorde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Boje Stagelund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Matteo in the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, RED DEVIL's Ciriaco Cayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boje Stagelund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Zandvoorde were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant RED DEVIL side.
