In the 5th minute, Augusto Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Oso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cuesta to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Papo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oliverios Barja. After 28 minutes of play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Lucio Peio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Oso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Silvestre Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilen Vicuña to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Augusto Atarratze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Oso. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Atarratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alexis Henríquez lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th minute, one of VERDOLAGA CITY FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VERDOLAGA CITY FC. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18. Jaime Luken stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reynaldo Oso. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Navarro in the 75th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Cleto Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Atarratze scored 0-7 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Oso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Lucio Peio came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Peio couldn't finish the play.
