AMERICAN BARÇA's Antxoka Valerón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Van Goethem in the 5th minute of play. When Lorenzo Rockloos fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silver Squad AFC's protests and gave Lorenzo Rockloos a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Rockloos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Cayetano Castan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommie Vaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Ereinotz Llorca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommie Vaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Antxoka Valerón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Rockloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldemer Bartumeu came free, but Tommie Vaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Timmy Van Goethem got a free kick in the 36th minute. Joost Cockaerts hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Baldemer Bartumeu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Joaquin Estruch fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's protests and gave Joaquin Estruch a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Silver Squad AFC booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Estruch didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joan Gallego made a kick off. Joan Gallego struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Tommie Vaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA. In the 58th minute, Cayetano Castan made a precise shot to the right of Tommie Vaes. Silver Squad AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 61st minute Ereinotz Llorca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Andrin Aguilar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Tommie Vaes. Tommie Vaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Cayetano Castan sped through Silver Squad AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommie Vaes. After 71 played minutes F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Estruch. 82 minutes into the game, Joost Cockaerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silver Squad AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA the free kick. In the 86th minute, Ereinotz Llorca made a precise shot to the right of Tommie Vaes. Silver Squad AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Tommie Vaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joan Gallego in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dyllan Switten. In the 94th minute Tulio Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Vaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
