But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Jurgi couldn't finish the play. Danilo Rencio took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Mark. Erubiel Mark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, EL DIABLO FC's Erubiel Mark got control of the ball when Prudencio Donio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laureano Jurgi struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Aldo Colon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL DIABLO FC. When EL DIABLO FC's Cosme Javiero in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Almirante Brown's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Donio got free with Erubiel Mark in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of EL DIABLO FC booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Etxepare didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Donio in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Mark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Prudencio Donio came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Club Almirante Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Donio couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Donio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Mark was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After some careless play in the EL DIABLO FC defense, Danilo Rencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Mark. The EL DIABLO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Mark should have stopped the shot. Club Almirante Brown's Niceto Gurutz was substituted for Federico Quinteros. After 71 minutes, Zacarias Henrico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL DIABLO FC and the Club Almirante Brown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes EL DIABLO FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Henrico. When Prudencio Donio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Club Almirante Brown fans jumped to their feet. Erubiel Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Danilo Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Mark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, EL DIABLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Cordero to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Almirante Brown fans cheered their team off the field, for while EL DIABLO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
