After 17 minutes, José Conde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garanhão do SUL and the Old BaoBaB Accademy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Sciarretta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Bentes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Loreto in the 20th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Torcato Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torcato Bentes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Rozzi in the 24th minute. If Amos Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torcato Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Sciarretta in the 33rd minute of play. Torcato Bentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Sciarretta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Bentes got control of the ball when Aurelio Rozzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Madeira was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Brochado hit a great ball. The supporters of Old BaoBaB Accademy booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Brochado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Loreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Torcato Bentes. Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucas Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Lucas Meireles got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alberto Guaita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Madeira in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Rozzi came free, but Torcato Bentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Garanhão do SUL's Filinto Coelho tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cássio Madeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Guaita having to make a save. When Old BaoBaB Accademy's Antonio Sciarretta in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garanhão do SUL's goalie prevented a goal. Anfilogino Antonangeli's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anfilogino Antonangeli helped the player get up and apologised. Old BaoBaB Accademy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
