Evert Visch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Iurea in the 24th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaud Goegebeur made a kick off. If Gheorghe Iurea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Youri De Raedemaeker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Groove Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Youri De Raedemaeker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santa Gheorghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mattijs Van der Vloedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute.
