Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guaberto Maraman started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Brasilino's Róbson Custódio got control of the ball when Arnulfo Confesor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Vélez Juniors's Tomás Bordat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Róbson Custódio. Róbson Custódio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Juan Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Isaltino Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Sandaili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbson Custódio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Playo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Róbson Custódio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnulfo Confesor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 28th minute Arnulfo Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brasilino! Róbson Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Toledo in the 38th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Ulises Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Confesor came free, but Róbson Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Aquiles Argina fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Róbson Custódio, passed just outside the right post. Róbson Custódio was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Guaberto Maraman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guaberto Maraman really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulises Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Brasilino's Róbson Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Confesor in the 60th minute of play. Guaberto Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vélez Juniors made a substitution. Ulises Cristofol replaced Damaso Playo. 66 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Eztebe came free, but Róbson Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Teixeira. In the 71st minute, Arnulfo Confesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 76 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Toledo came free, but Ulises Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Claudinho Alagoano got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ulises Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Sena in the 88th minute of the match.
