After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Cedric Aigle got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Rubin Lim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SSV Ulm 1846's Holger Kluge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cliff Robinson hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oskar Zimmert during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oskar Zimmert kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Holger Kluge came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Stowe City's DeAngelo Guevara. But to his dismay, DeAngelo Guevara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Cliff Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stowe City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Cristobal Weathers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oskar Zimmert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terrence Thome having to interfere. Yannik Maier charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yannik Maier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Holger Kluge made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Cristobal Weathers sent off a good shot on target. Dillon Yoder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terrence Thome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Zimmert, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy Nissen in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Terrence Thome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Oskar Zimmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terrence Thome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SSV Ulm 1846's Holger Kluge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyle Dill in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teddy Nissen to make the kick off. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when Stowe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubin Lim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Oskar Zimmert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stowe City's Terrence Thome proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Stowe City from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Cristobal Weathers put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Holger Kluge. Lyle Dill hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Terrence Thome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Nissen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, DeAngelo Guevara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stowe City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Stowe City's zone, Oskar Zimmert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terrence Thome came out of the goal and Oskar Zimmert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Aigle. Holger Kluge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyle Dill, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Oskar Zimmert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 90th playminute. In the 94th minute Lyle Dill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Kluge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dillon Yoder to maneuver through the defense.
