When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Lluc Castillejo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Eliseu Negri to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Baladi Urreta hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dolfo Escajadillo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseu Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florin Quelia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Lluc Castillejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudentio Asteguieta. Edgardo Loaisa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolfo Escajadillo in the 51st minute of play. Eliseu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolfo Escajadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edilberto Babiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Golden Dragón F.C had won after a very even match.
