An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Vigil in the 3rd minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Min Ordoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AFC Viola Gigliati booed when Blackened was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Caceres got free with Guido Weather in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Guido Weather managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when AFC Viola Gigliati's Vitoria Balbas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guido Weather showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Velaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Cipriano Caceres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0.
