The audience was convinced that Bartlomiej Dlugi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo de Amorim was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 88th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Mosiniak to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Eduardo de Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Gortaty's Mateusz Waselenczuk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute of the match Severino Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walery Hyska skillfully saved the ball. Severino Cunha's late challenge caught a Gortaty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Severino Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Pionek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Eduardo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Grêmio Meia Praia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gortaty's performance. The match ended with a win for Gortaty.
