Matthew Gijselinx charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Gijselinx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Gijselinx. Vladimiro Garoa made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Claudio Txilar immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin got control of the ball when Gwen Wegers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantino Sein hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richy Demeulemeester in the 15th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Samuel Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Richy Demeulemeester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dyllan Van Aerschot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Emenon in the 21st minute of play. Gwen Wegers was slow to take the kick. During this time Beek City's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin got control of the ball when Richy Demeulemeester tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beek City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gwen Wegers in the 34th minute. Dyllan Van Aerschot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Emenon in the 36th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Samuel Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richy Demeulemeester, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Samuel Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richy Demeulemeester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Mandiyu's Arturo Veronica was substituted for Arnoldo Janpier. 74 minutes into the match, Beek City's goalkeeper Dyllan Van Aerschot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Bernard. Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richy Demeulemeester in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Gonsalve. Matthew Gijselinx got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
