Gilberto Guipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Haldun Birtan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Dario Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökalp Behram in the 15th minute of the match. Dario Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Reşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alo Ba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haldun Birtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Guipuzkoa in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökalp Behram in the 26th minute of play forced BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Dario Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AYYILDIZ's zone, Zeledon Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haldun Birtan came out of the goal and Zeledon Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Guipuzkoa scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haldun Birtan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem Reşit came free, but Dario Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Guipuzkoa was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Hacı Gayret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AYYILDIZ and the BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AYYILDIZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hacı Gayret hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AYYILDIZ's Tolunay Cire got a free kick in the 60th minute. Haldun Birtan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Osmundo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Gökalp Behram charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 79 minutes, Zeledon Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökalp Behram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
