Martín Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hank Grandison, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With an all-out effort, The Obscurials's Martín Rojas threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hank Grandison, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute of the match Leonardo Cordearo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Otto Didlick skillfully saved the ball. When Hank Grandison came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the The Obscurials fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hank Grandison couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Aquiles Talone got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Lance Morey's late challenge caught a 1947 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Morey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Lance Morey got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Benito Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Didlick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hank Grandison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, The Obscurials's Hank Grandison ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martín Rojas. Martín Rojas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benito Gudesteo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when 1947 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Guaberto Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Didlick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larkin Teuma's late challenge caught a 1947 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Gudesteo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Hank Grandison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martín Rojas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 1947 FC's Martín Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Morey in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jarvis Biddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brynn Mcenally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Martín Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes 1947 FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Cordearo. Murdock Rosenboom hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Obscurials booed when 1947 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Didlick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Bonachea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaffery Millar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ellis Sawbridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Obscurials's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
