Hernan Shepherd charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 38 minutes, Robustiano Francis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bosteritos FC and the Barrialito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Maju in the 41st minute of play forced Bosteritos FC's goalkeeper Benigno Camerino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Inautzi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Nereo Maju took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Camerino. Bosteritos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacinto Raitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Paulino Gaspard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Maju was the one to do the kick off. Bosteritos FC's Benigno Camerino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Bosteritos FC from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Bosteritos FC's Lisandro Ferman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Gaspard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fausto Galsino hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Fausto Galsino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Cresitobalo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Bosteritos FC's goalkeeper Benigno Camerino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Raitin. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barrialito AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
