The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Bastos got free with Jeronimo Mon in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeronimo Mon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xande Xande in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Titan Nahas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Tostão Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Átomo F.C.'s Xande Xande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Club Atlético Escocia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Tostão Bastos scored to the left of an out of position Jeronimo Mon, making the score, 2-0. Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Escocia from getting a goal against them. Átomo F.C.'s Douglas Douglas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xande Xande took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Mon. Jeronimo Mon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xande Xande got free with Jeronimo Mon in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Escocia from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronald Mc Donald was the one to do the kick off. When Jeronimo Joachim fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Escocia's protests and gave Jeronimo Joachim a yellow card for diving instead. Átomo F.C.'s Jerônimo Paraense was substituted for Tostão Bastos. Jeronimo Joachim hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Túlio Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Ronald Mc Donald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Mon came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Átomo F.C.'s Ronald Mc Donald. But to his dismay, Ronald Mc Donald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jeronimo Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Xande in the 66th minute of the match. When Dionisio Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Escocia's protests and gave Dionisio Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. Átomo F.C. made a substitution. Allan Loyola replaced Xande Xande. Dionisio Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jeronimo Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Cerezo in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Loyola in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Enrique Astrada hit a great ball. Átomo F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
