Elvio Richie went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cardo Ruso Cordobés's corner Elvio Richie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fausto Elazar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute Elvio Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Elazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Gilberto Kauldi got a free kick in the 25th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Albiceleste F.C.'s Tomás Avellaneda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saturnino Honesto. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Tomás Avellaneda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Honesto came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Avellaneda slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. The supporters of Cardo Ruso Cordobés booed when Albiceleste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Elvio Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Elazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Romildo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tomás Avellaneda hit a great ball. When Baldomiro Librado fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cardo Ruso Cordobés's protests and gave Baldomiro Librado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Baldomiro Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cardo Ruso Cordobés made a substitution. Benjamin Quintin replaced Enzo Jordy. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Gerardo Olivar was substituted for Aurelio Rioja. After 57 played minutes Cardo Ruso Cordobés got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Librado. 60 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Romildo came free, but Saturnino Honesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Elvio Richie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fausto Elazar. The goal made the score 2-1. Saturnino Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Romildo in the 84th minute of the match. Joel Mambru's late challenge caught a Cardo Ruso Cordobés's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Mambru helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Albiceleste F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joel Mambru hit a great ball. Fausto Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s Virgilio Romildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saturnino Honesto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albiceleste F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
