Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Olympique Gdynia's Ludomil Waselewicz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Lan Šorli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedykt Kossakowski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wladyslaw Pietrasz during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Olympique Gdynia's Wladyslaw Pietrasz got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlato Gorišek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Gdynia's zone, Duško Turnšek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Czarnecki came out of the goal and Duško Turnšek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedykt Kossakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lan Šorli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ludomil Waselewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the game, Duško Turnšek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Gdynia the free kick. In the 19th minute, Duško Turnšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Duško Turnšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HIT Gorica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duško Turnšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lan Šorli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomil Waselewicz in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Wiktor Domin had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 28th minute, Zlato Gorišek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jernej Petrovič fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HIT Gorica's protests and gave Jernej Petrovič a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jernej Petrovič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedykt Kossakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Ludomil Waselewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique Gdynia and the HIT Gorica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the HIT Gorica defense, Benedykt Kossakowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lan Šorli. The HIT Gorica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lan Šorli should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Duško Turnšek made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Tevž Filipović hit a great ball. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Waselewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 58 played minutes Olympique Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Dyczkowski. After 62 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Rastislav Tomič. Lan Šorli came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Ludomil Waselewicz. But to his dismay, Ludomil Waselewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Duško Turnšek hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ludomil Waselewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludomil Waselewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Duško Turnšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tevž Filipović to maneuver through the defense. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Waselewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ludomil Waselewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Ludomil Waselewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomil Waselewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludomil Waselewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olympique Gdynia fans cheered their team off the field, for while HIT Gorica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
