Ramiro Gutxi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Gutxi in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Quilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Gutxi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Lizzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Ramiro Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Eusebio Gorosti made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pablo Lizzio made a kick off. Eusebio Gorosti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Inautzi having to make a save. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Miguel Frechoso hit a great ball. Amadeo Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Quilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 minutes, Amadeo Reyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Consejo del Mate and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Quilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Marcones's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Larpe. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Jeronimo Larpe got a free kick in the 68th minute. Cable a Tierra's Pablo Lizzio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Amadeo Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Illart during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Illart to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Inautzi made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Eusebio Gorosti sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Eusebio Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amadeo Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 100 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's Fernan Lugo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cable a Tierra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
