The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Lech Max was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Kaczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Kölblinger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryszard Piechocki having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Ternes came free, but Ryszard Piechocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luca Ternes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Luca Ternes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Piechocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Konrad Karanewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lech Max's zone, Gregor Rühmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Max's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FV Wienerwald the free kick. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Konrad Karanewski hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Gregor Rühmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryszard Piechocki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Luca Ternes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Piechocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lech Max getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aleksander Giec hit a great ball. When Andre-Yann Kahofer came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FV Wienerwald fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre-Yann Kahofer couldn't finish the play. Ryszard Piechocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre-Yann Kahofer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lech Max's goalkeeper Ryszard Piechocki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Ternes came free, but Ryszard Piechocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Mariusz Kaczynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Andre-Yann Kahofer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lech Max's Ryszard Piechocki. Ryszard Piechocki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FV Wienerwald's Gregor Rühmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lech Max. After the first half FV Wienerwald were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Janusz Smolak was the one to do the kick off. Ryszard Piechocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Giesen in the 51st minute of the match. Ryszard Piechocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Kölblinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Jo Jani got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Lech Max booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Jani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Piechocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Giesen in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Lech Max was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Kaczynski to maneuver through the defense. The Lech Max fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryszard Piechocki should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Lech Max's Kazimierz Budacz got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
