The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Hando Kannisto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vuntsidega Vägimehed and the Edelényi Bányász players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Vuntsidega Vägimehed got a freekick which was hit by Hando Kannisto. Kevin Klaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Havas in the 5th minute of play. Paul Tajur kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Simo Kuusk fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vuntsidega Vägimehed's protests and gave Simo Kuusk a yellow card for diving instead. Simo Kuusk hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Havas in the 14th minute of play forced Vuntsidega Vägimehed's goalkeeper Kevin Klaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ottó Rózsa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vuntsidega Vägimehed defense, Antal Havas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Klaar. The Vuntsidega Vägimehed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Klaar should have stopped the shot. When Géza Szigethy fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edelényi Bányász's protests and gave Géza Szigethy a yellow card for diving instead. Géza Szigethy hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Paul Tajur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Kristóf Császár made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eikki Kaldoja in the 41st minute of play forced Edelényi Bányász's goalkeeper Kristóf Császár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Géza Szigethy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paul Tajur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Havas was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Aare Tohvri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kristóf Császár was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristóf Császár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eikki Kaldoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Edelényi Bányász's Ottó Rózsa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Klaar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kristóf Császár took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aare Tohvri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelényi Bányász's Kristóf Császár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aare Tohvri in the 69th minute of play. But to his dismay, Hendrik Algaja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 91st match minute, Vuntsidega Vägimehed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simo Kuusk to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
