Nistor Pârvuță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Finnbogason in the 8th minute. Niclas Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Savin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Di Röe's Niclas Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Savin in the 10th minute of play. Jonny Alströmer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nistor Pârvuță firmly grabbed it by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, Damian Romanescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Di Röe the free kick. The supporters of Di Röe booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Romanescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Savin in the 22nd minute of play. Nistor Pârvuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Johnsson in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustin Gorcea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Staffan Wikander fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Di Röe's protests and gave Staffan Wikander a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Di Röe fans cheered their team off the field, for while LIVIUS UNITED MLS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
