After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rogerio Arcos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul Y Plomo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogerio Arcos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Mugnier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Guine charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Guine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fabian Guine hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Bajo in the 29th minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Martial Mugnier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Bajo came free, but Martial Mugnier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play Elegance Dijon's Fabian Guine was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Renedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Elegance Dijon's Adil Caruso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Renedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Flavien Frémaux kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Djimmy Jasmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azul Y Plomo's Navarro Cantillo was substituted for Xavion Foronda. Elvis Bajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martial Mugnier having to interfere. In the 75th minute Adil Caruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Renedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adil Caruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Camilo Renedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Elegance Dijon's zone, Elvis Bajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martial Mugnier came out of the goal and Elvis Bajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvis Bajo scored 1-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martial Mugnier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's Alex Macías sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martial Mugnier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvis Bajo got free with Martial Mugnier in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Azul Y Plomo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
