Alex Franceschi had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Placido Isidor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 16th match minute, forsal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Di Pasquale to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in forsal FC's zone, Victoriano Mel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Franceschi came out of the goal and Victoriano Mel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Egidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Palban to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Palban got free with Alex Franceschi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the game, Alfonso Palban lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Alex Franceschi. After 70 minutes of play, Franja Dorada F.C.'s Alfonso Palban made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Franceschi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Augusto Nero notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Franja Dorada F.C.'s Marciano Procopio. Marciano Procopio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Nero scored 3-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Procopio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Franja Dorada F.C. booed when forsal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Tacco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Romeo Calvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Franja Dorada F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cordeal. After a defensive mix-up in Franja Dorada F.C.'s zone, Augusto Nero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Procopio came out of the goal and Augusto Nero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Franceschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Jeraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the forsal FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
