The referee showed Endre Vas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Endre Vas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Erik Kolman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endre Vas in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boudewijn Wilmink in the 22nd minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Tisza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Endre Vas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Kolman. Sheep United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endre Vas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Zoltán Tóth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Erik Kolman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 78 minutes into the game, Boudewijn Wilmink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sheep United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Csabagyöngye the free kick. In the 79th minute, Mátyás Kiprich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mátyás Kiprich got free with Erik Kolman in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute of the match István Zolnai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Kolman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Zénó Détári fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csabagyöngye's protests and gave Zénó Détári a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sheep United booed when Csabagyöngye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zénó Détári didn't get a good kick on the ball. Csabagyöngye played a much better game than Sheep United and deserved their victory. The Sheep United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
