An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Freitas in the 16th minute of play forced Injuries's goalkeeper Wictor Bregenhus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikardt Halvgaard in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Nilton Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ottorino Skjold came free, but Toninho Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Injuries's Toninho Pinheiro threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ottorino Skjold, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Injuries getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sean Farcinsen hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sean Farcinsen was the one to do the kick off. Wictor Bregenhus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Injuries booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddi Ramkilde, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Toninho Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the DENVER™ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Injuries.
