Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jânio Guimarães kicked off to start the match. Dudu de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Klint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Klint in the 6th minute of play forced Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Dudu de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Klint in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jorginho Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarlet Speedster's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Sillén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Dan Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Sillén made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jânio Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Olov Wennerquist charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Romário Ceresso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Sillén. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Adrian Sillén made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jorginho Peres sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Jânio Guimarães made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Sillén was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Alstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Rune Alstedt. Adrian Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Jânio Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Scarlet Speedster fully deserved thier win.
