Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Walmyr Torres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hermosillo FC. José Carlos Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Tabor went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Ruben Gaitan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Carlos Velloso, passed just outside the right post. José Carlos Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Tabor in the 12th minute of the match. José Carlos Velloso was a little too slow when Amador Eneko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. The Jacuitiba - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Velloso should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Amador Eneko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Jacuitiba - FSCMZ booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Orlandus didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vágner Faria was the one to do the kick off.
