After a defensive mix-up in Roncourt's zone, Marius Ganea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamza Roux came out of the goal and Marius Ganea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Ludovic Moricet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roncourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludovic Moricet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Fanaticii's Gică Curcă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hamza Roux. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the game, Roncourt's Just Meurisse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Pruneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marius Ganeas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Hamza Roux to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute Marius Ganea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamza Roux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Just Meurisse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Pruneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Aurelian Enișteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roncourt the free kick. Aurelian Enișteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Roncourt booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Enișteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Just Meurisse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Florin Pruneda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florin Pruneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Just Meurisse's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Just Meurisse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florin Pruneda came out and tried to block the shot, but Just Meurisse slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. Roncourt made a substitution. Éloi Derrien replaced Sylvain Zettor. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Just Meurisse in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Pruneda saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gică Curcă in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamza Roux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Roncourt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
