The supporters of Flames FC booed when Lindner F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Jewell Matson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 10 minutes, Ellsworth Erwin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flames FC and the Lindner F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Ellsworth Erwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flames FC's goalkeeper Margarito Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Ernani de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Margarito Santana. Flames FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Lindner F.C's William Santos got control of the ball when Aimé Ham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinei Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Régis de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindner F.C and the Flames FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Régis de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 24 minutes on the clock, Jewell Matson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 25th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jewell Matson to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Wilson Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Margarito Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lindner F.C's Dinei Passos got a free kick in the 29th minute. Flames FC's Ellsworth Erwin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by William Santos but with some difficulty. The supporters of Flames FC booed when Lindner F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Margarito Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani de Lima in the 34th minute of the match. When Ernani de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Lindner F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani de Lima couldn't finish the play. Margarito Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Souto in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Kent Chesnay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Ernani de Lima made a precise shot to the right of Margarito Santana. Flames FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernani de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aimé Ham kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flames FC's zone, Ernani de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Margarito Santana came out of the goal and Ernani de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes Lindner F.C got a freekick which was hit by Régis de Azevedo. William Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellsworth Erwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes of play Lindner F.C's Dinei Passos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 61st match minute, Lindner F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Passos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Aimé Ham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimé Ham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilson Leite struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Margarito Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindner F.C. 65 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goalkeeper Margarito Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vânderson Sergipano. Aimé Ham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Santos having to interfere. If Aimé Ham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aimé Ham came free, but William Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Margarito Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Sergipano went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 77 minutes, Kent Chesnay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flames FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Chesnay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. William Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Chesnay in the 82nd minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Ernani de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindner F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flames FC the free kick. After 93 minutes of play, Flames FC's Ellsworth Erwin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aimé Ham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. William Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Lindner F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flames FC throughout the match.
