The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gusmão Castro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Campus Douro Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gusmão Castro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Gusmão Castro. Cristiano Graça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Igrejas in the 6th minute of the match. Cristiano Graça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alípio Vilaverde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Graça. Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Aleixo in the 12th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Cristiano Graça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Igrejas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Veríssimo Vieira got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Carlos Igrejas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Graça. Campus Douro Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Igrejas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Pestana came free, but Maoz Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Graça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pessoa in the 27th minute of the match. Gervásio Antunes's late challenge caught a FC Fura Balizas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervásio Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. Cristiano Graça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Igrejas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Igrejas in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Graça saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. After 37 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Graça was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 52 minutes, Kevin Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campus Douro Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Carlos Igrejas rounded Campus Douro Academy's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. In the 60th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aprígio Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Carlos Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Graça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match FC Fura Balizas got a corner. Campus Douro Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alípio Vilaverde ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aprígio Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Graça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Santiago Pestana struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Maoz Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campus Douro Academy. After 88 played minutes, Campus Douro Academy's Kevin Borba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maoz Ferro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Campus Douro Academy reached it. 91 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Cristiano Graça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aprígio Aleixo. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Cristiano Graça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Fura Balizas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
