The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bladi Abella to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrido Abancens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Oberto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bladi Abella got free with Jorge Oberto in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jorge Oberto made a huge save. After some careless play in the Discípulos de Ayn Rand defense, Pablo Bermudez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santana Abar. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santana Abar should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Leonidas Escalona put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Buenaventura FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Discípulos de Ayn Rand:s goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Bladi Abella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenaventura FC's Jorge Oberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bladi Abella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jorge Oberto made a huge save. In the 95th minute Andres Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santana Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Discípulos de Ayn Rand were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
