After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mateo Jurgi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Guillotina's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Jurgi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Tendean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaya Fachrezi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th match minute, Kranji Crunchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaya Fachrezi to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes, Martin Txordon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guillotina and the Kranji Crunchy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Guillotina's Martin Txordon got a free kick in the 7th minute. Lucas Muno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Febri Kili-kili in the 16th minute of play. If Generoso Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Salvidor during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute Budi Harmoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lucas Muno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Budi Harmoko in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, La Guillotina's goalkeeper Lucas Muno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Budi Harmoko. A collision led to Kranji Crunchy getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Febri Kili-kili hit a great ball. The Kranji Crunchy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kranji Crunchy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
