SV Balverliefd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Randers A.F.C. the free kick. A very good opportunity. Frans Beilegaard's late challenge caught a SV Balverliefd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frans Beilegaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Beilegaard to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christijan Sijmonds made a kick off. Victor Zondervan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Forthoft in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Forthoft in the 60th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Victor Zondervan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Frans Beilegaard suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Randers A.F.C.'s Frans Levysohn was substituted for Frans Beilegaard. A collision led to SV Balverliefd getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lennart Schalkwijk hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Huib Smit got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ronald Forthoft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Victor Zondervan made a huge save. Victor Zondervan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ralf Ejaas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. Victor Zondervan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Fuglevig, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ronald Forthoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Victor Zondervan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronald Forthoft. The attack was good, but when Gordon Fuglevig in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ralf Ejaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Twan Blanc. Randers A.F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
