Edward Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith DeGaetano in the 9th minute of the match. Templars FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Bradley Blueman scored to the left of an out of position Josh Galdes, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Pete Partridge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Josh Galdes. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Edward Preston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith DeGaetano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Tagliaferro in the 24th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Edward Preston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Clyde De Fremeaux hit a great ball. Josh Galdes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pete Partridge in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Jonathan Tagliaferro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston. Edward Preston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tyrone Sammut Castelletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dylon Sands who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Josh Galdes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Tagliaferro to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keith DeGaetano got free with Edward Preston in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th match minute, Templars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Borg Xuereb to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Blueman made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josh Galdes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Blueman came free, but Josh Galdes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Blueman came free, but Josh Galdes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josh Galdes came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Blueman. But to his dismay, Bradley Blueman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Josh Galdes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Partridge in the 65th minute of the match. Josh Galdes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Blueman in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Blueman in the 68th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Josh Galdes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Pete Partridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josh Galdes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Egg Chasers FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Egg Chasers FC's Pete Partridge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isaac Sapiano kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Pete Partridge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josh Galdes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After having played for 86 minutes, Dylon Sands managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egg Chasers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dylon Sands was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josh Galdes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bradley Blueman went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Don Major hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Egg Chasers FC were the better team. Egg Chasers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
