The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Minotauro's zone, Cleto Saturnin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Marques came out of the goal and Cleto Saturnin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Marques having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Léo Cardozo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Sotero in the 22nd minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Edgard Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Marques having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Moises Espiridion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cleto Saturnin charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Saturnin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Cleto Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Cordarrell came free, but Edgard Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Uriel Arotza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Marques skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, Ceferino Rito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léo Cardozo made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goalkeeper Edgard Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Sotero. After 57 minutes of play Minotauro's Silvério Lima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka booed when Minotauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Rito got free with Edgard Marques in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Minotauro's Edgard Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Rito in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Kiko Proença got a free kick in the 88th minute. Gustavo Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Ceferino Rito made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Marques. Minotauro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After 95 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Dias. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
