But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alonzo Jaume couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Aurre in the 17th minute of play forced Beaumont FC's goalkeeper Marcial Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 18 minutes on the clock, Cayetano Ermengol commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Beaumont FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Graneros:s goal. The referee gave Graneros a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eriberto Mikeldi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Beaumont FC's Marcial Quico. 1-0. Alvaro Balasi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Ismael Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Beaumont FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Balasi. Beaumont FC's Delmiro Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Beaumont FC's Americo Rios got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Alvaro Balasi fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beaumont FC's protests and gave Alvaro Balasi a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Aurre made a kick off. If Alonzo Jaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Montes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Graneros's Simon Patrido got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Lopez in the 71st minute of play forced Graneros's goalkeeper Bernardino Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Aurre in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beaumont FC's Julio Raymundo got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Graneros's zone, Alvaro Balasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Pacho came out of the goal and Alvaro Balasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Delmiro Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Aurre in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Beaumont FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Julio Raymundo hit a great ball. Alonzo Jaume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
