Oranil's Juan Velloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kiko Teixeira hit a great ball. Oranil were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Glasgow Rangers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hílton Cosme took the corner. Oranil's Hílton Cosme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Biagio Pantano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferruccio Del Greco came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan Velloso could save by the left post. In the 34th minute, Moisés de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Lio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Juan Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biagio Pantano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Juan Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrico Venditti in the 43rd minute. Ferruccio Del Greco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Juan Velloso made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Kléber Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Felice Schiacciacasse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Juan Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Del Greco in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Dennis Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Venditti in the 68th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Juan Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Glasgow Rangers FC's Felice Schiacciacasse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Ferruccio Del Greco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes Dennis Lio shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Juan Velloso when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 90th play minutes Ferruccio Del Greco shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Juan Velloso and just under the crossbar into goal.
