The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Silveira during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Al-Femur FC booed when Karavela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Catarinense was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 6 played minutes Al-Femur FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Foro. Karavela's Bruno Lopes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delmiro Marcones but with some difficulty. Fabricio Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Denílson Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Jorge Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Karavela got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Quirino. Teodoro Argider made a great header on Al-Femur FC's corner, it was just that Karavela's Denílson Catarinense managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Catarinense was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Elorri couldn't finish the play. Ruy Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruy Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karavela getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ruy Quirino hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Karavela got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Melo. Denílson Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Barros in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Karavela's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Elorri came free, but Denílson Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play Karavela's Ruy Quirino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Al-Femur FC booed when Karavela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Machado took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Catarinense. Denílson Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Al-Femur FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Al-Femur FC's Maximiliano Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Mattos to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Catarinense having to interfere. Guto Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A hard shot 64 in the game by Maximiliano Barros from a close distance when the talented Denílson Catarinense managed to make a qualified save. Karavela's players were relieved. 73 minutes into the match, Karavela's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Machado came free, but Denílson Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Benigno Benet made a precise shot to the right of Denílson Catarinense. Karavela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Fabricio Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Denílson Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Catarinense was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Maximiliano Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Ezequiel Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Catarinense having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Maximiliano Barros could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Denílson Catarinense however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Machado in the 86th minute of play forced Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well placed Maximiliano Barros short distance shot in the 89th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. If Ezequiel Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Karavela's Denílson Catarinense got control of the ball when Maximiliano Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Al-Femur FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
