In the 23rd minute, Nando da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shark FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Moisés Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nando da Costa. Enéas Valle's late challenge caught a Monumento Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Valle helped the player get up and apologised. 37 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's Paulo Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Glauco Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Nando da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Arruda to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toninho Arruda made a kick off. Paulo Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Glauco Velloso made a huge save. Monumento Sports's Moisés Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Garcia in the 60th minute of play. Moisés Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Antunes having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Nando da Costa came free, but Moisés Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Garcia in the 97th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
