Preator Edikt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Dieguinho de Queirós scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Samuelsson, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Isak Ambjörnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Preator Edikt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Preator Edikt were furious when Mathias Mellin was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Preator Edikt's Mathias Mellin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Preator Edikt's Edgar Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Cerezo in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner. Breno Cerezo went to the cornerflag to take it. Edgar Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Meireles in the 27th minute of the match. Preator Edikt's Edgar Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho de Queirós in the 29th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Floresta Negra FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Preator Edikt:s goal. Elói Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Breno Cerezo in the 47th minute really tested Edgar Samuelsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dieguinho de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Preator Edikt's Edgar Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Chaves in the 51st minute of play. If Dieguinho de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho de Queirós came free, but Edgar Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Dieguinho de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Ambjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Breno Cerezo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Samuelsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgar Samuelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho de Queirós in the 79th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Meireles. The Preator Edikt supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Preator Edikt would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
