The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Cayo came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Livingstone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Long Stora came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Livingstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Enrique Cassaretto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sergio Livingstone was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Cayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Sergio Livingstone made a huge save. In the 29th minute of the match CD Municipal got a corner. ViCeNzA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martino Armona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tulio Andinyach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergio Livingstone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Sergio Livingstone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. After a defensive mix-up in ViCeNzA's zone, Enrique Cassaretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Livingstone came out of the goal and Enrique Cassaretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Lordi came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Enrique Cassaretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Cassaretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Clodoveo Cayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Andinyach didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Enrique Cassaretto. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach got a free kick in the 60th minute. George Forsyth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Cayo in the 66th minute. But to his dismay, Ryota Miyagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Clodoveo Cayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Forsyth having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ryota Miyagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Forsyth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clodoveo Cayo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 77 minute of play. After 85 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Evtim Kúrdzhev. In the 88th minute Ryota Miyagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Cayo in the 94th minute of play. Clodoveo Cayo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. ViCeNzA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Oalo Dean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
